Coaching Service Agreement

Effective date: August 1, 2026

Welcome to Renew Coaching. This agreement explains the services offered by Linda Trignano through Renew Coaching and the shared responsibilities that support a respectful, productive coaching relationship.

1. Nature of Coaching

Coaching is a collaborative process that may include reflection, education, planning, practical resources, and agreed-upon action steps. It is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for licensed professional services. No diagnosis or treatment is provided.

2. End-of-Life Doula Services

End-of-life doula services are non-medical and may include planning, organization, education, legacy work, emotional support, caregiver and family support, and help identifying questions or resources. Renew Coaching does not provide medical care or replace hospice, healthcare professionals, attorneys, clergy, or other licensed professionals.

3. Client and Coach Responsibilities

The coach agrees to provide services with care, professionalism, respect, and appropriate confidentiality. The client agrees to participate honestly, communicate relevant needs, make their own decisions, and accept responsibility for their choices and actions.

4. Confidentiality

Information shared during coaching will be treated as private and will not be disclosed without permission except when required by law or when there is a serious and immediate safety concern. Electronic communications carry privacy risks that cannot be completely eliminated.

5. Scheduling and Cancellations

Session details and cancellation or rescheduling expectations will be confirmed with the client. Clients should provide as much notice as possible. A fee may apply to missed appointments or late cancellations when that policy has been communicated in advance.

6. Fees and Payment

Fees, packages, payment schedules, and refund terms will be provided before services begin or confirmed in a separate written proposal or invoice.

7. No Guarantees

Results depend on many factors, including the client’s circumstances, participation, decisions, and follow-through. Renew Coaching does not guarantee a particular result.

8. Emergency Situations

Renew Coaching is not an emergency or crisis service and does not provide 24-hour support. For immediate danger call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for mental health crisis support.

9. Ending Services

Either the client or coach may end the coaching relationship. Outstanding fees for services already provided remain due.

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

11. Questions and Agreement

Continuing with or purchasing services after receiving this agreement indicates acceptance of these terms unless a separate signed agreement states otherwise.
